This is a reminder that all requests made during registration or even by email are requests. PALs is run entirely by volunteers who do their best to make this a successful sports program to develop our youth so that they are ready for junior high sports. Cheerleading is a sport and as your cheerleader gains experience and age new opportunities are available within the sport. Age divisions are in place for the safety and mental health of your children. Squads are based on grade level to ensure that your child does not get injured. This also ensures that age appropriate skills and stunts can be taught. While our commissioners and coaches do their best to honor all requests for coaches and teammates there are no guarantees that all requests will be granted. Please keep in mind that you cannot request to cheer for a sibling team just for the convenience. The cheerleader must still be within her age range for safety reasons. Also if there are concerns about a coach please take that up with a commissioner. We never want to have children missing out on a sport due to coaching issues.
