Due to the success and the greater competition offered by the nearby towns Ponder Pals will continue to partner with the recreational interlock of the surrounding towns of Sanger, Pilot Point, Tioga, Aubrey, Valley View and Era. This recreational North Texas Interlock will allow these towns to play each other and have a basketball season. Please understand this requires some travel for games. Also gym time for practice will be very limited as basketball has the largest number of teams and limited space available. We have opened practices back up this year but please be mindful and do not bring up extra siblings or family unless absolutely necessary as this is distracting for the player and coaches. We would still like to be mindful of safety measures and parents please ensure that you are cleaning up behind yourself after practice. No trash left in the bleachers please.

North Texas Interlock

Little Dribblers will be offered this year for ages 5  (as of 8/31/2026) through 1st Grade in Ponder

2nd grade -Sixth grade will play in our Ponder PALS teams in partnership with the surrounding towns of 

Sanger, Pilot Point, Tioga, Aubrey, Valley View, Krum and Era.

Divisions will be based on the individuals age as of 8/31/2026.

Teams will be assembled primarily based on grade.

Games will start January 9 and all games will be played on Saturday except for the Playoffs.

Please remember it costs $5 cash for adults, $3 cash for senior and kids are free. 

Entry fee only has to be paid one time per day even if going to multiple gym locations just make sure to get a stamp.

 There is the possibility that games may be at any of the other towns participating in the interlock-

Sanger, Pilot Point, Tioga, Aubrey, Valley View, Krum and Era.

Practice will be determined by the coach and as gym space is allowed.
